Phase two consisted of 200sqm external refurbishment works and CIP proposed the following solution:
• Plane off the existing area to tie in
• Apply a heavy tack coat
• Regulate as required
• Install 40mm Densiphalt
The planing works were carried out by a specialist company, Power Plane Ltd who CIP sub-contracted the works to and Tarmac National Contracting Ltd provided the open graded asphalt for phase 2.
