Developed by local authority health and safety and procurement professionals, with the support of the Health & Safety Executive. The scheme is available for use by any public and private sector organisations to use when short listing contracts suppliers and consultants who apply to work for them. It provides information about the Health & Safety part of their application and will show they meet acceptable standards of Health & Safety compliance.
Constructionline
Constructionline is the UK's register of pre-qualified construction and construction related suppliers. Constructionline gather and assess pre- qualification information on behalf of public and private sector procedures and provide them with access to over 5,500 fully accredited suppliers free of charge. In addition they also help contractors and consultants by reducing the need for them to fill in pre-qualification forms for every tender and provides access to over 1,700 buyers Over 13,300 contractors and consultants ranging from sole trader and small specialist firms to large multi-radicals are registered with construction hire. The 1,700 buyers access the UK range from large central government departments and local authorities, housing associations, universities & NHS trust.
